What makes us different
Roof cleaning by drone.
No scaffolding, nobody on your roof, a faster job: Maison Owlaris cleans roofs and removes moss by drone when it is suitable and permitted.
How it works
In brief
The drone flies over the roof and sprays the cleaning or treatment product evenly, piloted from the ground. It avoids scaffolding and walking on the tiles, which can break them.
The advantages
- No scaffolding or aerial lift to install in front of the house.
- Nobody walks on the roof covering: less risk of breakage and falls.
- Ideal for high or steep roofs, farmhouses and large buildings.
- Often a quicker job.
When the drone is not possible
- In strong wind or in the rain.
- In areas where flying is prohibited or very restricted (near airports, some town centres).
- When the site does not allow people to be kept at a distance during the flight.
In these cases, we clean from the ground, with a pole or with suitable equipment.
What the regulations say
A drone flight over a home falls under the “specific” category of the European regulations, applied in France by the DGAC: it is reserved for trained remote pilots, under precise conditions of area, height and safety. That is why we only use it when the flight is permitted.

Frequently asked questions
Your questions.
Is drone cleaning suitable for every roof?
No. It suits high, steep or hard-to-reach roofs, when the site allows a safe flight. Otherwise, we work from the ground, with a pole or with suitable equipment.
Is the drone allowed everywhere?
No. Flying over homes is governed by European regulations and the French civil aviation authority (DGAC), and prohibited in some areas, for example near airports. Before each job, we check that the flight is possible.
How much does drone roof cleaning cost?
The price depends on the area, the access and the treatment chosen. By avoiding scaffolding or an aerial lift, the drone can reduce the overall cost. The quote is drawn up after assessment, with no obligation.
Where do you work with the drone?
In Hauts-de-France, especially around Steenvoorde, Hazebrouck, Cassel and Bailleul, on the Opal Coast, and in the Dunkirk, Saint-Omer and Béthune areas, when flying is permitted.
What do your clients think of the drone?
Several of our clients' Google reviews mention drone cleaning: no scaffolding and a faster job.
